Think Pink

Our 5th annual Think Pink Benefit was held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Tampa South East. Proceeds from this year’s benefit went to support Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. The evening included open wine/beer bar including a signature pink alcoholic beverage, appetizers, buffet style dinner, and a chocolate fountain!

Dozens of local businesses pledged goods and services for our Silent Auction and raffle. You can help us, too, by donating your goods/services to our cause or you can choose to sponsor a mammogram for women who do not have insurance and can not afford one without our help. Just contact Tammy Gettle. Net proceeds will benefit breast cancer prevention, awareness and treatment.

We are a non-profit organization 501-C3 based in Hillsborough County, and are a member of the Tampa Bay InterKrewe Council. In the past 4 years, with the help of this Benefit, we were able to donate over $80,000, as well as countless volunteer hours.

This event is dear to all of our hearts. We have all been touched by this disease through either ourselves, friends or family. Several members of our Krewe have fought this fight and continue to do so. Your participation in the event will help the Sirens of the Golden Sabre’ and so many others in their search for a cure – we know it is right around the corner! Join us and help to fight back!
